About David Parry
David has worked with investors and owners of international businesses in multiple industries for over 30 years. He has a strong foundation in teaching, finance, sales & marketing and business strategy, which he uses to help businesses achieve high sales and profit growth.
Starting his career as a schoolteacher followed by pharmaceuticals marketing, David became MD of a small failing manufacturing business which he successfully recovered and grew. This was the foundation of a long career in business recovery and growth amongst increasingly large and multi-national businesses.
David is passionate about bringing equality of opportunity to those less fortunate and works to help several charities and specifically with clients who have similarly strong values.
Meet the Team
Felicity Monica Tumpkin - Head of Learning & Development
Felicity has more than 20 years of experience in Learning and Development, including 7 years with Deloitte and 2 and a half years with Ernst and Young, where she coordinated the learning programmes for 300 staff annually and managed Audit and Assurance and firmwide learning. She has a particular passion for research, curriculum building and people development, and has been a part of the learning and development journeys of over 400 Chartered Accountants in Zimbabwe.
Felicity is also a co-founder and Executive Director of Shathaq Trust, a non-profit organisation that assists volunteer organizations and individuals in building capacity for their programmes and initiatives to run more effectively.

George Mwenda - Head of Tech Solutions
With our online audit and multiple Webapps to support our workshop programmes, George is constantly innovating new solutions for us.
George is a Digital Age Entrepreneur who has had a passion for computers and electronics since he was a child. With his wealth of experience in both technical and executive management skills, he started out as a ‘techpreneur’ co-founding three start-ups. George loves working in teams with others to help them achieve their goals. His love for technology, design, and problem solving are critical for SmartBRG as we are constantly looking for new and better ways of supporting client business growth and learning through technology.
